Introduction Day to Guitar Circle and New Standard Tuning Mendoza, Argentina.Saturday 1st of April, 2006Martin Schwutke During this day the New Standard Tuning and principles of working in a Guitar Circle will be introduced. An introduction to basic techniques, commonly used in Guitar Craft, will be given. It is open to anyone, 18 years or older, who wishes to attend. Players of all levels are welcome to participate. It is directed towards those wishing to make a beginning in the New Standard Tuning, and is open for anyone with prior experience in Guitar Craft who feels the need to continue their work, or to reconnect. The focus will be on fundamental principles in the use of both hands, coordination, and the direction of attention. Work is done on steel-string acoustic guitars, using a pick. Martin Schwutke will direct this Introduction Day, supported by a team of crafties with experience. It will be held in a private house in Mendoza city.
