principles employed in achieving excellence can be applied to another
practice?

The New Standard Tuning (NST) and several basic techniques employed in
Guitar Craft will be presented, including the functioning of the right and
left hands, rhythmic sense, coordination, and the direction of attention.
Our work will be done on steel-string acoustic guitars, using a pick.
Players of all levels are welcomed to participate.

Instructors assisting Robert Fripp for the weekend are Tony Geballe and Curt
Golden; Tony and Curt have been Guitar Craft Instructors since 1985.

Sandra Bain Cushman, a certified Alexander Technique Instructor, will be
present throughout the course and will teach the Alexander Technique as a
means of developing attention and presence in the body. Sandra has been
working with Guitar Craft since 1988.

The Seminar will be held in a large private home adjacent to the Snowshoe
Ski Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia. The location is approximately 200
miles west of Washington, DC. This is an absolutely lovely setting for our
work together. Top-shelf vegetarian cuisine will be provided by, Patrick
Smith assisted by two experienced kitchen assistants. Due to the size of
the facility, all sleeping accommodations will be double occupancy. At the
present time, we are anticipating a group of twelve participants.
