GC AAD (At-A-Distance) Course 2008Sunday 13th of January to Sunday 1st of June, 2008Directed by Martin Schwutke, Dr.Mike Grenfell & Hernán Nuñez This 5 month course is being offered as a response to the several inquires about continuing with AAD work, previous courses have proved to be very useful, for the students and the staff, particularly for those of us who cannot attend GC courses in person this approach is an opportunity to stay actively connected to GC wherever we are in the world despite of our limitations regarding traveling and attending courses. The course is open to those who have at least attended an Introduction To Guitar Craft Course and have taken the principles presented seriously and offers the opportunity to work over an extended period of time, guided by an experienced Team. This AAD will focus mainly on the guitar and DV&F (Developing Variations and Fluency), the Mechanics of Performance will also be present, in various forms and challenges. The material presented and to be worked on includes: DV&F; Calisthenics; Fretboard Knowledge; Revision of GC Primaries; Right Practice; Ear Training; Special Repertoire; and Themes, the latter presented and guided once monthly by Dr.Mike Grenfell We are open to respond to necessities of the participants as we go along during the 5 months.
