Beginning New Standard Tuning / Guitar Circle Weekend Camp Caravan, Royalston, MA, USA

This extended weekend will introduce the principles of right and left hand technique, the direction of attention, rhythm, and working in a guitar circle, techniques commonly used in Guitar Craft. We will be using the New Standard Tuning. This course is open to anyone 18 years or older who wishes to attend. Players of all levels are welcome to participate. No previous experience is required. Work is done on steel-string acoustic guitars, using a pick. Tony Geballe, Victor McSurely and Bert Lams will present the course, supported by members of the New England Guitar Circle. Alexander Technique will be presented by Sandra Bain Cushman. When your application is approved, you will receive detailed information about the exact location, transportation, what you need to bring, the form of payment, and other practicalities.
