WEEKEND INTRODUCTION to the GUITAR CIRCLE and the NEW STANDARD TUNING

This Weekend is open to anyone who wishes to attend and it is available for guitarists with any level of experience: from beginners to professionals. It will provide an introduction to the work in the Guitar Circle, the New Standard Tuning and some of the techniques, principles and practices presented in Guitar Craft Courses.

It will also provide an opportunity for Crafties with a need to review and reconnect.

The weekend will be held in Santiago de Chile and will be directed by Fernando Kabusacki (Los Gauchos Alemanes, Buenos Aires and Berlin Guitar Circle, MG Epumer Band and Juana Molina's Flower Trio).

For English speakers translations will be available.

We will be working with acoustic guitars with steel strings on the New Standard Tuning that will be presented at the beginning of the Workshop. Please bring a guitar strap and spare strings. We will work on the basics of playing the guitar with a pick, so please bring a pick.

The cost for the weekend, including group and individual instruction, lodging and all meals will be Chilean Pesos $ 35.000 for Chileans (Chilean Pesos $ 30.000 for those traveling from abroad and certified students)

The Workshop begins on Friday October 4, 18:00hs, and it ends on Sunday October 6 at 12:00hs.
