ATLANTA BEGINNING CIRCLE NST/AT RETREAT
Dahlonega, Georgia

Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th of July, 2002

Curt Golden and Sandra Bain Cushman.

The Atlanta Beginning Circle announces the first ABC NST/AT Weekend Retreat, to be held July 25-28 in the North Georgia mountains. This course will be conducted by Curt Golden and Sandra Bain Cushman. This short, intensive course will address guitar mechanics, group work, body beat exercises, and work with the Alexander Technique.

The ABC Retreat is open to anyone with prior Guitar Craft or New Standard Tuning course experience. Additionally, this course offers Crafties an opportunity to introduce spouses and committed partners to this work. While primarily a guitar-focused course, activities designed to involve non-guitarists are also planned.

The cost for the course is not set yet. In the end, the fee depends upon response; we are committed to keeping cost as low as possible. The most this course would cost is $600, but if response is high, we expect the final cost per person to be around $500. We also hope to offer non-guitarist spouse/partners a 10-20% discount.

Because of the facility, this course has an absolute size limit. If you wish to attend, please make your commitment early.

The course location is the Center for New Beginnings in Dahlonega, Ga. It is approximately 93 miles north of the Atlanta airport. We will begin with the evening meal on Thursday, July 25, and end with a group meeting after lunch on Sunday, July 28.

For more information or to find out how to reserve your spot for this course, contact the ABC registrar, or visit the Atlanta Beginning Circle website.
