Introduction to the New Standard Tuning

The Introduction to the New Standard Tuning is open to anyone who wishes to attend. No prior experience is required.

The focus will be on fundamental principles of the use of both hands, an introduction to the New Standard Tuning and an introduction to Guitar Circle work. Principles of Guitar Craft Primary Exercises will be presented.
This New Standard Tuning Workshop is a preparation for those who wish to attend an Introduction to Guitar Craft, and the GC Level 1 Course with Robert Fripp (May 2005, Madrid, Spain).
It is also an opportunity for those who have prior experience in GC and feel the need to continue working in this context, review and / or to reconnect.

Work will be done on steel-string acoustic guitars, using a pick.

Guitar Craft Assistant Instructor Luciano Pietrafesa will direct this NST Day. It will take place on Saturday, April 16th 2005 (9:00am – 18:00pm) in The Verbal Arts Center, Derry, N. Ireland.
Tuition fee: 65 EUR / 50stg (accommodation and meals, not included).
