GUITAR CRAFT came into being in March 1985 as the result of a request for Robert Fripp to present a short series of residential seminars at Claymont Court near Charles Town, West Virginia. The response and demand was such that from 1985 until this day, over a hundred courses and projects ranging from three days to three years have taken place all over the world. A feature of the Seattle Circle's work is its Tuning The Air project. Co-Directors: Curt Golden & Jaxie Binder. www.tuningtheair.com The League of Crafty Guitarists, a performance wing of Guitar Craft, released 5 albums and toured extensively for six years until 1991. Anywhere Guitar Craft is, the League is close by. In January 2002 it returned to active service, and has been touring and recording regularly in Europe, South America and North America since.
