The Seattle Circle is a not-for-profit organisation, an independent offshoot of Guitar Craft, formed in response to a suggestion-challenge presented by Frank Sheldon to members of Guitar Craft, that they form a location-based performance ensemble. A feature of the Seattle Circle's work is its Tuning The Air project.

The League of Crafty Guitarists, a performance wing of Guitar Craft, released 5 albums and toured extensively for six years until 1991. Anywhere Guitar Craft is, the League is close by. In January 2002 it returned to active service, and has been touring and recording regularly in Europe, South America and North America since.
